MonumentsCastelo de ElvasThe fortress perimeter has the shape of an irregular polygon, with a maximum diameter of 1,000 metres. There are three main entrances to the castle - the Porta da Esquina, Porta de Olivença and Porta de São Vicente. The keep was rebuilt in 1488.
