Museums and Palaces
The museum has a valuable collection of 20 and 21 C Portuguese art, including painting, sculpture, drawings, photographs and engravings, and also contains the most representative collection of works by Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso (1887-1918).
It also has an exhibition of British art from the 1960´s to the present day, Armenian art, particularly works by Arshile Gorky (1904-1948) and a significant collection of works by Vieira da Silva and Arpad Szenes.
