Traditional Portuguese Recipes: Bacalhau com Todos (Codfish with everything)
- 4 loins of cod soaked
- 4 eggs
- 200g turnips
- 300g potatoes
- 500g of Portuguese cabbage
- 300g of sprouts
- 200g of carrots
- 4 spring onions
- 1 branch of curly parsley
Boil the water with sea salt and the eggs. When boiling, place the potatoes peeled and cut in half and the carrots peeled and cut lengthwise into four.
Let it boil for 3 minutes.
After this time, place in the same water the washed sprouts and cabbages and the peeled and cut turnips and the peeled onions.
Let everything cook for 15 minutes, then add the codfish and turn off the cooker.
Drain everything, peel the eggs, and serve on a platter with the bottom watered with olive oil.
