In this concert, actor João Fino, accompanied by an ensemble of seven musicians from the Orquestra das Beiras, conducted by Jan Wierzba, performs Stravinsky's play, with commentary by Susana Henriques.

In this work, conceived by Stravinsky and Ramuz during the World War I, words and music dialogue in an original way. It's the story of a young soldier who is seduced by the Devil into giving up his violin in exchange for enormous riches.
