This concert, with commentary by Susana Henriques and performed by the ensemble ars ad hoc, will feature "The Story of the Little Tailor", from 1939.

The ensemble ars ad hoc stands out for the quality of its interpretations and the ease with which it moves between music of different styles and eras. It is now making its debut at the Centro Cultural de Belém, with the presentation of a contemporary work and "The Story of the Little Tailor" (1939), a work for instrumental octet created by the Hungarian composer Tibor Harsányi (1898-1954), based on the tale "The Story of the Little Valiant Tailor", a classic tale by the Brothers Grimm.
