In the year marking the centennial of John Coltrane and Miles Davis, the Hot Clube de Portugal Orchestra, conducted by Pedro Moreira, presents a concert paying tribute to the legacy of two of jazz’s greatest figures.

Featuring trumpeter Ralph Alessi and saxophonist Ingrid Laubrock, the program recreates historic arrangements from the collaboration between Miles Davis and Gil Evans and premieres new works inspired by Coltrane’s artistic vision, in a performance that is part of the celebration of the Tivoli BBVA Theater’s anniversary and highlights the dialogue between tradition, innovation, and contemporary creation.
