"Peter and the Wolf" is a new production by the National Ballet Company aimed at children and young people, which transforms Sergei Prokofiev's famous musical work into a dance performance for the first time.

Choreographed by Andreas Heise, the production reinterprets the well known fable through a contemporary lens, exploring themes such as imagination, adventure, and discovery. The project aims to introduce young people to music and dance by combining movement, storytelling, and theatrical expression. The musical performance will be presented by the Portuguese Youth Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Jorge Leiria, in a production that combines the power of music with the expressiveness of dance.
